Building a Bicycle (Production Line)

In 2016, as Head of Learning and Development at Brompton Bicycle, our team was challenged to rethink and support a redesign of the production line. Traditionally staff were trained on a moving production line with very little knowledge as to 'The Why' of the build process.

When establishing the new production line, the success of implementation came down to our initial training and ongoing upskilling of the team.

Engineering Graduate Program â€‹

When COVID hit, facilitation and classroom learning came to a sudden halt around the globe. This presented Engineering Education Australia with a problem in delivering its benchmark product around Australia and the world.

Tasked with creating a course that encompassed online self-paced learning and SME facilitation, the team created a new program within time, and on budget. We even won a few awards for our efforts!
